Flopper barbs.
All of our gaff heads include flopper barbs. These help to keep the gaff imbedded in the fish. The benefit of a flopper barb over a traditional barb is that it leaves a smaller entry hole, making it less likely to fall out and also making the fish loose less weight when the gaff is removed, when it comes to tournament or record fishing - every gram counts.
Design.
The shape of our heads has been an evolution over the last 10 years. Todays shape is a fine balance between strength, ease of insertion, and also manufacturing consistency to allow one pole length to work across our range of heads, allowing you to carry spares or use any of your poles with any of your heads while remaining IGFA legal.
Premium.
At Titan Gaff Co we only use the best materials, our heads are made with either 6AL4V Titanium or 316L Stainless. The Titanium used in our premium range is ultra lightweight, corrosion proof and extremely strong. This material is favoured over a range of industries including aerospace, aviation, medical, military and marine.

316L Stainless is a high end material offering great strength and corrosion resistance, although heavier than our Titanium heads these are still a premium offering for those looking for a more budget friendly option.

All of our poles are made from Carbon fibre, this fantastic material is very light weight, high strength, does not suffer corrosion and is also easier on the finish of your boat than a metal pole.
